Lucas Paqueta has just absolutely raved about one West Ham United youngster in particular on Instagram.
West Ham star Lucas Paqueta took centre stage when he opened the scoring against Freiburg in the Europa League last night.
However, David Moyes brought him off around the hour mark due to concerns about the Brazilian’s calf, and he didn’t cover himself in glory when he left the pitch by failing to even acknowledge his replacement James Ward-Prowse ,or indeed his manager.
In spite of that, the former Lyon star is a vitally important player for us, and his pedigree in the game means that whatever he says must be taken seriously.
So with that in mind, Paqueta’s praise of one of the Hammers young stars last night would have been a huge boost for the teenager in question…
Lucas Paqueta says West Ham have a seriously talented teenager
The Brazilian star took to his official Instragram account to praise 19-year-old George Earthy, after he made his debut for the senior side.
Paqueta posted the below message:
The central midfielder, who can also play as a number 10, has been in sensational form for the under-21s this season, with seven goals and seven assists in 17 games to his name so far, and he has bagged 10 goals and eight assists in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
Earthy has so much talent and potential, and if he continues to work hard and applies himself properly off the pitch, the sky will be the limit for him.
The fact that Lucas Paqueta has been so impressed by the West Ham youngster tells us all we need to know about him.
