West Ham United lineup vs Aston Villa confirmed as David Moyes names his XI for the Premier League clash.

Aston Villa are the visitors at the London Stadium today, and it’s a vital Premier League game for West Ham United.

David Moyes will be desperate for his side to get back on track in the league after our disappointing draw against Burnley last weekend.

Meanwhile, Villa are in real need of all three points as well, as the race for the top four really begins to heat up.

Unai Emery will be without three key players this afternoon – John McGinn, Ollie Watkins and Diego Carlos.

It should be a really good game today, but what lineup has Moyes gone with?

West Ham United lineup vs Aston Villa confirmed

Moyes has made changes from the side that beat Freiburg 5-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night, as confirmed by the club’s official X account:

Alphonse Areola and Emerson Palmieri come into the side in place of Lukasz Fabianski and Aaron Cresswell.

Alphonse Areola, Vladimir Coufal, Kurt Zouma, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Emerson Palmieri, Tomas Soucek, Edson Alvarez, Lucas Paqueta, Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen, Michail Antonio

That’s about as strong as the team could be today, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the win.

Tottenham proved that Villa can be got at last weekend.

However, I don’t expect to take the game to them like we did against Freiburg on Thursday night.

I twill be a long afternoon, and the players will really have to dig in at times, but I’m confident that we can get the win.

I’m going for West Ham 2-1 Aston Villa, and the starting lineup selected by David Moyes is more than good enough to get the job done. COYI X
