West Ham have an absolutely huge clash at the London Stadium coming up on Sunday against fellow relegation strugglers Southampton.

David Moyes will obviously be putting the boys through their paces, with a win against the Saints an absolute necessity for the Hammers.
The West Ham players were pictured training hard at Rush Green today, and there was one rarely seen youngster captured in action…
West Ham training photos: Youngster snapped taking part
Joseph Anang returned to West Ham in January after his loan spell with Derby County.
The 22-year-old is still yet to feature in a senior match for the Hammers, but with Lukasz Fabianski struggling with an eye socket injury, he has been on the bench in recent games.
And Anang was snapped during today’s training session with the senior squad (Photo number seven), on West Ham’s official website.

It is notoriously difficult for young goalkeepers to break through into the first-team for two reasons – 1) there is only one position available in the team and 2) goalkeepers usually don’t reach their peak until late 20’s or early 30’s.
Anang does seem to have a lot of quality but his lack of experience in playing at the very highest level obviously goes against him. And the only way to change that is to play regularly – something that won’t happen with Fabianski and Alphonse Areola at the club.
I would not be surprised one little bit if the 22-year-old drops down a division or two in the summer and leaves West Ham on a permanent basis.
Having said that, the mere fact that he was training with the senior team today proves that he has something about him.
