West Ham United starting XI vs Sheffield United confirmed as David Moyes names his lineup for this afternoon’s clash.

Sheffield United play host to West Ham in the Premier League at Bramall Lane today, and David Moyes has been unable to call upon some of his best players for the starting lineup.

The Hammers can really cement our place inside the top six with a victory against the Blades today, whilst the hosts desperately need a win to give them any hopes at all of avoiding relegation.

We are all fully aware of just how difficult this afternoon’s clash will be for West Ham, with so many key players unavailable for selection.

So what has Moyes gone with for today’s clash with Sheffield United?

The Hammers boss has made changes from the defeat to Bristol City on Tuesday night, as confirmed by the club’s official X account.

Alphonse Areola, Pablo Fornals, and Jarrod Bowen come into the side in place of Lukasz Fabianski, Aaron Cresswell and Said Benrahma.

Alphonse Areola, Vladimir Coufal, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Kurt Zouma, Emerson Palmieri, James Ward-Prowse, Tomas Soucek, Maxwel Cornet, Pablo Fornals, Danny Ings, Jarrod Bowen

As mentioned earlier, today’s game against the Blades will be a really tough one for us, and it probably won’t be the most entertaining of watches.

However, if the players ensure that they defend well and don’t make any silly mistakes, then the boys will be more than capable of getting a positive result.

The main thing will be to match the hosts for effort, aggression and commitment. If we do that, we’ll be just fine. The West Ham starting lineup selected by Moyes certainly isn’t the strongest, but it’s the best he has at his disposal.

Many don’t fancy us today but I just fancy that we could nick this one 1-0. COYI X
