West Ham starting lineup vs Brentford confirmed, as the Hammers look to get back on track in the Premier League.
Brentford play host to West Ham United in the Premier League in one of the three o’clock kick-offs this afternoon.
Hammers boss David Moyes and his players will be high on confidence after Wednesday’s Carabao Cup win over Arsenal.
Brentford has not been a happy hunting ground for West Ham though. They have beaten us every time in the Premier League since they returned to the top flight two years ago.
However, we did beat them away in the FA Cup earlier this year, and with confidence ridding high, the boys will fancy their chances of repeating that result today…

West Ham starting lineup vs Brentford confirmed
Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez are both suspended so are forced to miss out against the Bees.
Moyes has made three changes from the midweek 3-1 win over Arsenal, as confirmed via West Ham’s official Twitter account:
Alphonse Areola, Vladimir Coufal, Nayef Aguerd, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Emerson Palmieri, James Ward-Prowse, Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Said Benrahma, Michail Antonio
Antonio’s inclusion in the side was a really big surprise this afternoon. I know that Paqueta is suspended but many expected Moyes to switch to a 3-4-3, with Benrahma, Kudus and Bowen forming the front three.
It’s a big game for the Jamaica international – he’s been terrible recently and has a big point to prove.
That’s a strong starting XI, in spite of the fact that two of our key men are missing.
The most important thing today will be for every single West Ham player to be 100% at it, and up for the fight against the Bees.
Moyes has some real match-winners on the pitch, but it will be vital for the players to keep things tight at the back as well.
Thomas Frank’s side always make it incredibly hard for their opponents, and this afternoon will be no different.
