West Ham United are preparing a huge new contract offer for Jarrod Bowen in a bid to ward off interest from Liverpool.
That’s according to a report from the Evening Standard who claim that the Hammers are concerned about Liverpool’s interest in the brilliant 25-year-old attacker.
Bowen has been in absolutely sensational form for West Ham so far this season. Alongside Declan Rice, he has been a standout performer for David Moyes.

Since moving to the London Stadium from Hull City in January 2020 for around £22 million (The Guardian), the powerful, hard-working attacker has bagged 21 goals and 21 assists in 88 games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).
He has reached another level entirely this term though, with 12 goals and 11 assists to his name in 35 games so far (Transfermarkt).
Bowen has been absolutely vital to West Ham’s rise to prominence over the past two years.
And his fine form in East London has not gone unnoticed. Liverpool have been linked with a £40+ million summer move for the Hammers ace (Goal). And it seems as though Moyes is already making a move to get Bowen to commit his long-term future to the club.

The 25-year-old is set to be offered new terms by the Hammers in the summer according to a report from the Evening Standard.
The former Hull City ace currently earns around £96k-a-week at the London Stadium according to Spotrac.
West Ham’s top earner is currently Kurt Zouma on £120k-a-week followed by Andriy Yarmolenko on £115k-a-week (Spotrac).
Bowen undoubtedly deserves to be one of West Ham’s top two earners, alongside Dec of course.
Perhaps £130k-a-week or so would reflect his talents and contributions to the team more fairly than his current pay packet does.
Fight to keep Jarrod
Keeping hold of Bowen will one of the hardest challenges that Moyes faces at West Ham.
He will undoubtedly continue to get better and better. And with clubs like Liverpool hovering, the Hammers owners need to prove that they can match our best players’ ambitions.
And as every West Ham fan will admit, that is the one real concern about the whole situation. David Sullivan and David Gold have proven time and time again that they don’t have any real ambition to take this club forward.
Let’s just hope that that doesn’t force the likes of Bowen and Rice to leave anytime soon.
