One West Ham United player’s fitness is being very closely monitored right now.
West Ham have experienced all sorts of injury problems this season, and Graham Potter has been made to work with one hand tied behind his back in truth.
Potter is planning to add younger, more dynamic and robust players to his West Ham ranks this summer.
The current Hammers squad is nowhere near where it needs to be.
Much needs to change this summer, if West Ham are to be competitive next season.

And that may well mean getting rid of one player who’s totally unreliable from a fitness perspective.
West Ham medical team concerned about Niclas Fullkrug
Niclas Fullkrug has really struggled with injuries this season.
The 32-year-old has spent more time on the sidelines this season than he has on the pitch.
And Graham Potter admitted that Niclas Fullkrug is still strugglling with his fitness after returning from his latest injury.
According to Claret and Hugh, Fullkrug’s fitness continues to be a concern inside the club.
It is claimed that the German is being closely monitored by the medical team.
And the really worrying thing is that they don’t believe he is capable of playing a full 90 minutes.

I mean, Fullkrug has been back in training for a long time now, well over a month in fact.
Surely the only way to get him fully up to speed is to give him a full run-out for 90 minutes.
Niclas Fullkrug was clearly desperate to leave West Ham
The Germany international has experienced a terrible time with the Hammers if we’re being honest.
And Fullkrug was so desperate to leave West Ham in the January window that he was willing to take a pay-cut.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Niclas Fullkrug at West Ham.
He has looked very impressive since returning from injury, but his inability to play a full 90- minutes is obviously a big concern.
He could well be sold in the summer.
