West Ham United have been linked with a shock move to sign 22-year-old Barcelona star in the summer transfer window.
According to a report from 90min, West Ham are one of the sides chasing a player who Barcelona are now keen to get rid of – Sergino Dest.

West Ham United manager David Moyes desperately needs to bring a top-class right-back to the London Stadium this summer.

The Hammers currently have Vladimir Coufal, Ben Johnson and Thilo Kehrer as options. Let’s be honest here, none of them are good enough for the Premier League.
And it seems as though Moyes has a plan in place to bring in a very highly-rated player indeed…
West Ham eye summer transfer window swoop for Sergino Dest
90min reckon that Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Villarreal, Crystal Palace and Wolves are all keeping an eye on Dest, alongside West Ham.
I think that the 23-capped United States international would be a fabulous addition for the Hammers.
The 22-year-old joined Barcelona from Ajax in October 2020 for around €26.2 million (£23 million) according to Sky Sports.

All About Ajax once described Dest as a hugely talented player with ‘lightning-fast pace’.
The speedy right-back is currently on loan with AC Milan and the Italian giants have an option to buy him. However, 90min claim that the Rossoneri are not prepared to take up that option.
Dest seems to be tailor made for the intense nature of Premier League football.
And I’ll be more than happy if David Moyes brings him to West Ham in the summer transfer window.
