West Ham are being linked with an exciting star they love to hate as a claim is made that Wilfried Zaha would be open to a Hammers move.
Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha has been a tormentor of West Ham in the past.
Not just with his attacking verve but his antics on the pitch too. It is fair to say Zaha is often a target for opposition fans and West Ham supporters are no different when they meet Palace.
But it says everything about Zaha’s quality that the injury he picked up last weekend was seen as potentially decisive, not only for Palace, but all the clubs in the mass battle to avoid relegation.
Well now it seems West Ham fans could be the ones cheering the Eagles star on next season.

Because West Ham have been linked with the exciting star they love to hate as a claim is made that Zaha would be open to a Hammers move.
According to an exclusive from The Daily Star, West Ham and Newcastle are leading the race to sign the 30-year-old on a free transfer in the summer.
The report states that Zaha will listen to the offers from West Ham and Newcastle and is prepared to move away from Selhurst Park after spending the majority of his career in south London.
But the report also claims West Ham believe they could have a big advantage.

London an ace card for Hammers, report claims
“It’s understood West Ham bigwigs believe the prospect of staying in London could be a compelling option for the experienced forward,” the report states.
The fact Zaha’s time at Man United under David Moyes did not work out has also been dismissed as a potential issue should the Scot remain at the club.
The claims, which have also been repeated by Sky Sports, come after West Ham took a big step towards securing Premier League survival with a win over Fulham on Saturday.
Jarrod Bowen was again a standout performer for West Ham, creating the own goal which secured all three points for the Hammers.
And these reports raise the tantalising prospect of a West Ham forward line with Zaha on the left and Bowen on the right.
Michail Antonio, who turns 34 next season, looks almost certain to leave West Ham in the summer.
There has also been speculation over the future of Italian forward Gianluca Scamacca.
