An utterly laughable rumour has emerged online about star Jarrod Bowen as the media vultures start to circle over wounded West Ham.
The West Ham pile on has well and truly begun it seems and Jarrod Bowen is the subject of the latest tittle tattle.
The defeat to Newcastle was a dark day in West Ham’s recent history of that there is no doubt.
Yes it is a damaging loss as the Hammers fight for Premier League survival.
But notice how the football media have suddenly taken a big interest in West Ham having largely ignored us all season?
Anyone would think we are sat bottom of the table with no hope of staying up. The fact eight other clubs are more or less in the same boat as West Ham seems to have suddenly been forgotten.

Crystal Palace for example are still right in the mix and West Ham could leapfrog the Eagles with a win at Fulham this weekend.
Yet they and another Premier League rival Aston Villa have been mentioned in a new report regarding the Hammers which, frankly, is not worth the internet data used to upload it to the web.
An utterly laughable rumour has emerged online about star Bowen as the media vultures start to circle over wounded West Ham.
A report by talkSPORT has claimed Bowen is ‘wanted’ by Newcastle ahead of the summer window.
That rumour in itself does not hold much water. West Ham are not a selling club in recent years – unless they have no other option or a club is willing to pay big money.
Newcastle do have massive financial clout now and may well be able to offer Bowen Champions League football. So that rumour at least could have some substance.
But claims elsewhere state Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are also monitoring Bowen for a summer move.
Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. Yes you did read that correctly – as you can see in the post below.
Villa are a big club with plenty of history but they’re certainly no bigger than West Ham.
And just because they’ve had a few decent results under Unai Emery does not suddenly mean they’re a club destined to emulate the likes of Newcastle.
West Ham would never sell a top player to a rival like Villa, it just would not happen.

As for Palace. I mean if there was ever a more ludicrous transfer link I’m yet to see it.
Of course if West Ham were relegated and forced to sell some of their top players then Bowen may be shipped out to the highest bidder.
But even then, Palace? Pull the other one. Can you imagine Bowen telling his father-in-law to be Danny Dyer that he’s leaving West Ham to sign for Villa or Crystal Palace?
And Palace being relegated is probably a more likely scenario than West Ham dropping for goodness sake.
Bowen to Palace or Villa! I’ve heard it all now. I think we can safely consign this particular claim to the transfer rumour bin.
