West Ham United are interested in signing super-talented starlet Javi Guerra from Valencia in the January transfer window.
According to 90min, Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra is firmly on the West Ham radar ahead of the January transfer window, and we have scouted him on several occasions already.
Hammers boss David Moyes strengthened his central midfield ranks in the summer with the signings of James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez but he still wants further reinforcements, with the likes of Conor Gallagher still being linked with a move to East London.
If West Ham are going to move on and progress to the next level, we need far greater strength in depth.

The addition of a striker, a left-back and one more elite central midfielder in January would take us to another level in my view.
And it seems as though Moyes definitely has a plan in mind to strengthen his midfield department at the London Stadium…
West Ham linked with January move to sign 20-year-old midfield wonderkid Javi Guerra
90min reckon that the Hammers are battling it out with some of the world’s biggest clubs to sign the Valencia starlet.
I think he’d be a hugely exciting signing for us, but there is one big problem…
He is a central midfielder by trade, and has bagged three goals and one assist in nine La Liga games for Valencia so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Standing at 6ft 2in tall, the 20-year-old is an absolute unit but don’t be fooled, he’s not just a bulldozing powerhouse. The Spaniard is a supremely gifted technician with the ball at his feet.
The ‘elite’ wonderkid has an £86 million release clause inserted into his current contract with Valencia (Daily Mail).
However, Valencia have big money problems (BBC). So maybe, just maybe, they might be open to selling Javi Guerra to West Ham for a reduced fee.
The bottom line is that Moyes won’t be splashing out major money on someone who is just 20 – it’s not how he operates, so Valencia will need to accept a fee that is significantly lower than the Spaniard’s release clause, if the Hammers are to sign the central midfielder in the January transfer window.
