West Ham United face a clash against Everton in nine days time and it seems as though the Londoners have been handed a very big injury boost.
David Moyes will take his Hammers side to Goodison Park to face Rafa Benitez’s Toffees on October 17th.
Both West Ham and Everton have made impressive starts to their respective Premier League campaigns.
Moyes’s men will fancy their chances of beating the Toffees. We won 1-0 at Goodison Park last season.
The Hammers have a slight concern about two players ahead of their clash against the Merseyside outfit, however. And the problem is, both of them play in the same position.
Vladimir Coufal has been forced to miss two games for his country during the international break due to a groin problem. Ryan Fredericks also has injury problems and has been missing for the past couple of weeks.
Things seem to have taken a positive turn for the Hammers though…
West Ham handed a seriously big boost ahead of Everton clash insider claims
According to a report from Claret and Hugh, the Hammers fitness team are confident that Fredericks will be fit to face the Toffees.
That really is a very big boost considering that Coufal is far from certain to be ready for the clash with Everton.
Fredericks, 28, has been a much maligned figure at the London Stadium over the past three years.
We must give credit where it’s due, however…he has been brilliant when given a chance this season.
The former Fulham man has always possessed exceptional pace but it seems as though he has improved upon his defending and final product in the last third.
Having Fredericks back and available for selection for the Everton game would be a big boost. Especially with Coufal struggling with a knock of his own.
