West Ham United forward Michail Antonio has just made a really strange suggestion regarding Jarrod Bowen replacing Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.
Michail Antonio has struggled for form this season, whilst Jarrod Bowen has been absolutely on fire for West Ham – with one of his five consecutive away goals coming against Liverpool last month.

The 26-year-old has already been widely tipped as the man who could take over from Salah at Liverpool, if the Egyptian ends up leaving Anfield.
Bowen recently signed a new seven-year deal with the Hammers though, and he is clearly the most important player David Moyes has at his disposal at the London Stadium.
The former Hull City star has bagged six goals and two assists for West Ham already this season (Transfermarkt), and Moyes has even mooted the possibility of him moving into the middle as a centre-forward at some point.
He is so important to everything good we do at West Ham, so the Hammers fans won’t be happy with Antonio’s latest suggestion one little bit…

West Ham fans will be furious with what Michail Antonio has just said about Jarrod Bowen
Over the past year or so, Antonio has made a name for himself off the pitch more than on it unfortunately.
The 33-year-old forward comes out with controversial statements fairly regularly on the Footballer’s Football podcast.
And he was at it again this week, when talking about his teammate Jarrod Bowen:
“He is a bagsman. Everything he is touching is turning to gold right now. But hey, it’s going to cost a lot of dough, man has just signed a seven-year deal. The money you get from (Mohamed) Salah, you are going to have to give it to us! He’s quality, left-footed and plays on the right-hand side like Mo Salah, so he is the perfect replacement, but hey, it’s not going to be easy to get him out of here. It won’t be easy because that’s a seven-year contract man has just signed.”
Why would you say that? Even if you thought it, there’s just no need to hawk one of our best players out to a club like Liverpool.
I really feel like the Jamaica international should be concentrating on his football right now, rather than speaking on that podcast every single week. Maybe I’m just old-fashioned, I don’t know.
It was only a month ago when Antonio ridiculously predicted that West Ham would finish above Liverpool this season before we played them at Anfield, only for him to go missing during the game.
And now Michail Antonio has suggested that our best and most important player – Jarrod Bowen – is ideal for Liverpool. Seriously Micky, less talk and more action on the pitch…please.
