West Ham fans will absolutely love video of what Declan Rice did after Norwich win

West Ham United fans will absolutely love a video showing what Declan Rice did after the 4-0 win away at Norwich City.

The Hammers ran out comfortable victors at already relegated Norwich with a brace from Said Benrahma, a first Premier League goal for Michail Antonio since New Year’s Day and a Manuel Lanzini penalty.

In many ways this was the perfect game for West Ham after Thursday’s bitter Europa League semi-final disappointment.

Rice was at his imperious best throughout, not that he necessarily needed to be. And he even filled in comfortably at centre-back when Craig Dawson went off injured.

Speculation ramped up over Rice’s future following West Ham’s Europa League exit.

But the midfield talisman gave a passionate speech about Hammers fans and how much they mean to him following the heartbreak in Frankfurt.

And Rice showed just what his club’s supporters mean to him following the important victory which keeps alive hopes of sixth place and Europa League qualification.

West Ham fans will absolutely love video footage of what Rice did after the Norwich win.

Video taken by a West Ham fan from the away end shows Rice being serenaded as he makes his way over to the away section.

Rice takes off his Hammers top and picks out a young fan in the crowd, leaning over the hoardings to make sure that particular West Ham fan got his shirt.

With his shin pads tucked into his shorts, Rice looks truly made up with the supporters singing his name over and over and applauds them with a big smile on his face.

A lovely moment which underlines what a genuinely great man as well as player West Ham have on their hands.

Hopefully for another year at the least.

A special mention must also go to West Ham’s travelling fans who were in great voice throughout and were given plenty to cheer about.

They also got to see Mark Noble in action in a nice side story to the win.
