West Ham fans have just made their club all the more desirable to Amanda Staveley’s PCP group after leaving them seriously impressed amid their interest in a takeover.

As revealed by Hammers News two years ago, financier Amanda Staveley is interested in buying into West Ham United.
Staveley and her PCP group of US billionaire backers have turned their attentions fully to West Ham since being snubbed by Spurs last season.
In a TV interview in 2024 and speaking on a more recent podcast in his native Czech Republic, Daniel Kretinsky made it clear he has no desire for full ownership of West Ham.
Staveley’s PCP group ‘blown away’ by West Ham fans
Kretinsky backed that up with his actions when he very deliberately only purchased an additional 16 per cent of the club following the resignation of David Sullivan.
At £5.6m per share, that 16 per cent injected £90m into West Ham – the exact amount needed before the end of June to avoid financial sanctions.
What would you say if Amanda Staveley BOUGHT West Ham?

More shares were available to Kretinsky from the Gold family and Sullivan’s 38.8 per cent stake but he opted to just increase his holding by the 16 per cent needed to plug the financial black hole in West Ham’s accounts.
Staveley, who set up the game-changing takeovers at Man City and Newcastle, is fronting a US-backed consortium of billionaires who want a London club.

Hammers News revealed the truth behind Staveley’s serious interest in West Ham last month.
We also exclusively revealed Staveley was still interested in West Ham despite Kretinsky increasing his stake.
Staveley made it clear West Ham are one of few clubs that fit her big plan when she was interviewed last week.
That came after pictures emerged on social media purporting to show Staveley, her husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi and a mystery man being shown around the London Stadium.
West Ham’s massive season ticket renewal numbers impress PCP
The fact West Ham do not own their home ground has been seen as a major reason outside investors have not tried to take the club over in the past.
Relegation from the Premier League does not necessarily help in that regard either.
The fixtures are out! How many points do West Ham NEED in the first 5 games?
Turf Moor is a tough start…
But it seems the club’s supporters are doing their bit to make the east London outfit an attractive proposition.
Staveley has made it clear she only wants a club that is underperforming and in need of her group’s expertise and investment to turn things around.
The Hammers fit that bill perfectly and tick the London box too.
Now West Ham fans have left Staveley’s PCP group seriously impressed.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity to protect relationships, a source close to the Staveley group has exclusively told Hammers News they have been “blown away” by the number of season ticket holders the club has retained despite relegation.
Hammers News recently revealed West Ham had over 30,000 fans renew season tickets in the weeks after relegation from the top flight.
Now the Hammers have confirmed that number has risen to over 35,000 – and there is still a week to go until the renewal deadline.
West Ham have thanked fans for their loyalty and Hammers News has been told the club anticipates the final figure to reach between 40-42,000.
That will mean West Ham have more season ticket holders than most Premier League clubs, let alone their Championship rivals.
The source close to Staveley and co say the figures and response of fans has not gone unnoticed by her and her backers.
“They obviously already appreciate West Ham are a big club with so much potential, hence their interest in the first place,” the source exclusively told Hammers News.
“But those figures, in the face of being relegated, have blown them away to be honest.
“They are all very impressed and it has added to the feeling the club could be a juggernaut if they can get involved and start turning things around to an upward trend.
“The fans have certainly done more to add to the club’s appeal than the previous regime.”
West Ham fans proving once again that they truly are massive.
