West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign Sheffield United hot-shot Iliman Ndiaye in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from The Sun who claim that West Ham face competition from Everton and Newcastle for the 23-year-old Sheffield United forward’s signature this summer.

There will be plenty of players leaving, and if the Scot is still in charge, getting young, hungry and highly talented players through the door will be an absolute must.

It seems as though Moyes has someone who fits right into that category lined up as a potential summer signing for West Ham…

West Ham targeting Iliman Ndiaye this summer

The Sun reckon that the Hammers could swoop in for the talented Senegalese ace before the start of next season.

Ndiaye has been sensational for Sheffield United this season, with 12 goals and eight assists in 40 games to his name so far (Transfermarkt).

The 23-year-old is an attacking midfielder but he can also operate as a striker or even in an orthodox central midfield role.

He has incredible technique and pace and power in abundance.

Without disrespecting Sheffield United, a move to a bigger club will surely be on the cards soon for the Senegal international.

The Sun describe Ndiaye as ‘instrumental’ to the Blades, so the Championship outfit will obviously not let him leave on the cheap.

FLW reckon that it could take around £22 million to prise him away from Bramall Lane.

I think that kind of fee would represent exceptional value for Iliman Ndiaye and if West Ham sign him this summer, I will be a very happy man.
