It seems as though Manchester United have left West Ham in their wake in the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen ace Jeremie Frimpong.
According to SportBILD, West Ham target Jeremie Frimpong is currently in ‘advanced negotiations’ with Manchester United about a summer move to Old Trafford.

West Ham to miss out on Jeremie Frimpong to Manchester United
The 22-year-old Leverkusen defender could be Old Trafford bound this summer according to SportBILD, with negotiations already under way.
Missing out on Frimpong will be a huge blow for the Hammers – he would have been the ideal signing for us this summer.
West Ham desperately lack any kind of pace or power in the full-back positions – two traits that the Dutchman possesses in abundance.

In 31 Bundesliga appearances for Leverkusen so far this season, Frimpong has bagged eight goals and six assists – unbelievable numbers for a right-back (Who Scored).
The ex-Manchester City and Celtic ace really does seem to be the real deal. In fact, Celtic fan site 67 Hail Hail once described Frimpong as ‘unplayable’.
Leverkusen could demand around €30 million (£26 million) for the 22-year-old (Buli News). That sounds like great value for whichever club wins the race for his signature.
Unfortunately for West Ham though, it seems like Manchester United are in prime position to sign Jeremie Frimpong this summer.
