West Ham could be served Aaron Wan-Bissaka on a plate after board member speaks out

Manchester United star Aaron Wan-Bissaka is believed to be firmly on the radar of West Ham United this summer.

West Ham are said to be eyeing up a move to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United, and he is thought to be keen on returning to London.

Former Hammers boss David Moyes failed to bring him to the London Stadium in January, and now Julen Lopetegui seems to be determined to succeed where his predecessor failed.

Manchester United are said to be demanding just £17 million for the former Crystal Palace man this summer (Goal) – an absolute steal in this day and age.

Lopetegui currently has Vladimir Coufal as his only recognised senior right-back, and he obviously can’t head into the new season with that being the case.

Wan-Bissaka is just the man we need as far as I’m concerned, and the door could not be more wide open for Lopetegui to bring him to East London now…

The rapid right-back is the perfect candidate to come into West Ham and replace the ageing Coufal.

Wan-Bissaka is incredibly quick, is one of the very best tacklers in the game and would offer us some much needed explosiveness along the backline.

If Lopetegui is to take West Ham to another level, he needs to upgrade his right full-back department urgently.

Bringing in Wan-Bissaka this summer seems like a no-brainer to me, and now the Hammers have been handed a major boost in our pursuit of the former Crystal Palace man.

Galatasaray board member Ibrahim Hatipoglu told Fotospor how Galatasaray will not be able to meet Manchester United’s demands for Wan-Bissaka.

“We have allocated a budget of less than 10 million Euros for right-back”, he said.

Now, considering the fact that the Hammers are said to be battling Gala for the 26-year-old’s signature this summer, Hatipoglu’s comments surely mean that the door is now wide open for Lopetegui to bring him to the London Stadium.

In fact, the Manchester United defender is being served to West Ham on a plate is seems.

Lopetegui absolutely cannot allow this opportunity to pass him by this summer, if he is to oversee some genuine progress at the London Stadium.

West Ham signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka for just £17 million in the summer transfer window would be an unbelievably good bit of business for the club.

And after Hapitoglu spoke out, I don’t see how the Hammers cannot be anything other than red hot favourites in the race to sign the Manchester United star.
