West Ham United ace Harrison Ashby posts Rush Green Twitter photo after report suggested he’s Newcastle United bound.

Reports emerged last month that Ashby, 21, was refusing to sign a new contract with the Hammers, with Newcastle leading the race to sign him for a nominal fee in January.

Losing the talented young right-back to Newcastle would be a major blow for David Moyes.

The 21-year-old is the most talented young player to have come through the ranks at the London Stadium for quite some time.

He is out of contract with West Ham in the summer of 2023 though, so rumours suggesting that he could be on his way out of the club next month are certainly believable.

It seems as though Ashby is not allowing outside noise to effect him at the moment though…

The 21-year-old may well be heavily linked with a move to Newcastle but with just nine days remaining before our clash with Arsenal, he was pictured hard at work at the Hammers’ Rush Green training ground.

And Ashby posted a few pictures on his official Twitter account showing him putting in the hard yards during a training session in the snow:

I’m really hoping that West Ham go all out to keep Harrison Ashby at the London Stadium with one more contract offer.

The Scotland under-21 international has absolutely everything needed to succeed at the very highest level of the game.

And it would be such a huge shame to lose him to one of our Premier League rivals for what will be such a nominal fee in January.

Ashby will go one to become a real star in the game in my opinion. And seeing him strut his stuff with another club in England will really hurt.
