Freddie Potts has been spotted training with the West Ham United first-team ahead of our clash with Arsenal tomorrow.

West Ham play host to Arsenal at the London Stadium tomorrow, and Freddie Potts has been taking part in first-team training in the lead up to the game.

Maybe the 19-year-old Hammers starlet is line for a place on the bench tomorrow? It would be really good to see, after Potts impressed during his appearances against Larnaca last month and FCSB back in November.

Potts has only made two appearances for the senior side this season, for a total of 45 minutes. Both of those appearances have come in the Europa Conference League.

But could David Moyes have plans to use him in the Premier League?

Youngster spotted training with West Ham first-team ahead of Arsenal clash

Freddie Potts was training with the first-team at Rush Green yesterday.

The talented teenage midfielder has been impressing with the under-21s this season and has a really high ceiling. It seems as though people within the club have begun to stand up and take notice of Potts this term.

The official West Ham Twitter account posted the below video yesterday showing the 19-year-old midfielder in action:

Described as a superb’ midfielder by under-21s boss Mark Robson (WHUFC.com), Potts seemingly has a very bright future in the game.

He is the son of West Ham legend Steve Potts and he undoubtedly has all the basic ingredients needed to go on and become a regular feature in the Hammers first-team, just like his dad.

Moyes clearly rates Potts very highly. The fact that the teenager is training with the senior side tells us that.

He may well be included in the West Ham squad for tomorrow’s clash with Arsenal. However, I would be shocked if he played against the Gunners, considering the magnitude of the game.
