Jesse Lingard responds to furious Manchester United fans on the touchline…surely he must to come back to where he was loved last season.
Lingard spent a wonderfully successful loan spell with West Ham last term but he returned to Manchester United in the summer.
The 28-year-old bagged nine goals and four assists in just 16 Premier League games for the Hammers.
His successful loan spell at the London Stadium reinvigorated Jesse’s career and saw him earn a recall to the England squad.
Since he returned to Man United, however, he has really struggled for regular game-time.
Lingard responds to furious Manchester United fans on the touchline
The 28-year-old hit a real low point of his career yesterday.
Whilst warming up on the touchline, he was subjected to abuse from the Man United fans.
Lingard responded brilliantly, however:
The Daily Star claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants around £15 million for Lingard in January.
That seems like a lot of money for someone who is nearing the end of his contract.
Perhaps after yesterday’s antics from the Manchester United fans, Jesse will now know that he has to leave Old Trafford.
And he would be more than welcome back at West Ham.
Come home Jesse!
