Hitting a new low instantly saw a fresh round of speculation on the Scot’s future at West Ham.
West Ham have won just 15 of their last 52 Premier League matches. And they realistically need five victories from their last 13 games to stay up.
West Ham’s hardcore travelling support turned on the manager for the first time at the Amex with three chants which made their feelings perfectly clear.

Some West Ham fans were also unhappy with captain Rice after the game – although many look to have got the wrong end of the stick regarding comments he made.
They say actions speak louder than words. And it is time for less words, more action if West Ham are going to stay in the Premier League.
Because there are certain words and phrases coming out of the Hammers on an almost weekly basis which are becoming utterly meaningless.

The latest to utter the meaningless stock phrase were captain Declan Rice in his post match interview and Angelo Ogbonna.

“Today is a bad day for everyone, it is very disappointing,” Ogbonna said before delivering the go-to catchphrase of West Ham’s dismal league campaign.
“But we will stick together and keep going.”
Look we want our senior players to front up and speak about things. But at this point trotting out the same line over and over just feels like lip service.
We would all much rather see this supposed resilience, unity and determination out there on the pitch.
