Sam Allardyce is worried about his former club West Ham and has told David Moyes to take the squad on holiday.
After the shocking 4-0 defeat to Brighton at the weekend, Moyes admitted it was the worst performance and result since his return to West Ham in 2020.
Hitting a new low instantly saw a fresh round of speculation on the Scot’s future at West Ham.
Majority stakeholder David Sullivan responded to that talk but telling Hammers News he and the board were still backing the manager.
But he also made it clear he was unimpressed with the display and result.
West Ham have won just 15 of their last 52 Premier League matches. And they realistically need five victories from their last 13 games to stay up.

Supporters turned on Moyes and the team following the 4-0 loss at Brighton.
And now a former Hammers boss has offered the Scot some advice about what to do next.
Allardyce is worried about West Ham and has told Moyes to take the squad on holiday.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Allardyce – who used to insist on getting his squad away for a mid-season winter break abroad for team morale and a refresh – has advised Moyes to do the same if he wants to keep West Ham up.
“Now it’s getting to the nitty gritty of the season, you’ve got no more time, time is running out,” Allardyce said of the mounting press at West Ham on talkSPORT.

“You must get it right and you must put it right now. And of course the pressure builds on the manager and the players because everybody jumps on their back. Everybody would say you know ‘punish your players, get them in for more training’ all that nonsense that they go on about outside the world of football.
“That is the last thing you want to do. At the moment you want to build their confidence and you want to take the pressure off them and how you decide to do that. Now it’s unfortunate you’ve not got the time because of the fixture congestion but definitely this time of the year, the players need more than ever to get away for a few days to relax, to switch off, to put your head back together in the right positive frame of mind physically and mentally by taking a break.
“And of course everybody goes ‘What you doing taking them away, they don’t deserve to go away’ all that rubbish that you hear on the white noise on the outside. On the inside you do what’s right and what’s right is relaxing your players, building their confidence and then of course working on the team and picking the right team to go out and win whatever game it is. And if you do that and you can increase the level of performance then you’ll get yourself out of trouble.”
If Moyes is going to take Allardyce up on his advice then West Ham do actually have the ideal opportunity on the horizon.
The Hammers have three weeks without a game after March 16th following the postponement of the match against Man City.
After that date – when they take on AEK Larnaca in the second leg of their Europa Conference League last 16 tie – West Ham are not back in action until April 2nd against Southampton.
