West Ham United boss David Moyes has been given a massive boost by former Hammers boss Sam Allardyce ahead of tonight’s huge game against West Brom.
Yannick Bolasie slams West Ham and Everton snubs
Moyes and Allardyce go head-to-head at the Hawthorns with West Brom already relegated and West Ham needing a win to secure European football.
Whether that is in the Europa League or Europa Conference League remains to be seen.
It looks like West Ham are in a battle with Tottenham to secure sixth spot and Europa League football next season.

Crunch game for West Ham’s European hopes at West Brom
West Ham face West Brom and Southampton. Meanwhile Spurs have more difficult matches – on paper at least – against an Aston Villa side boosted by the return of Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins and Champions League chasing Leicester.
Hammers fans are worried their former manager Allardyce will be out to get one over on his old club.
West Brom played well and were denied a deserved draw against Liverpool at the weekend when goalkeeper Alisson scored nearly a minute beyond the allotted time added on time to secure a 2-1 win.
With the return of West Brom fans for the game as well, West Ham could be in for a difficult night if they are not at it from the off.

Allardyce gives Moyes a massive boost after admitting he is struggling to raise spirits to face West Ham
But West Ham will be boosted after Allardyce made the frank admission that he is struggling to lift his players for the game after their Liverpool heartache (Birmingham Mail).
“It’ll be my hardest job since I got here (lifting the team to face West Ham), on the dejection and disappointment of the team in the dressing room,” Allardyce told the press (Birmingham Mail).
“This game comes up so quickly on Wednesday.
“It’ll be my hardest task to ask them to go again like they did against Liverpool, but we will let them get over this disappointment, recover and then on Tuesday talk about overcoming it and delivering another performance like they did against Liverpool.

Hammers need to focus on winning and look for a favour from Villa or Leicester
“You hope they get the rewards for that.
“It wouldn’t have been a problem getting them ready for Wednesday if they had got the draw, or possibly even the victory.”
West Ham must hope for a favour from Villa in the 6pm kick off and then give everything to beat West Brom.
Better Tottenham’s result and the Hammers go into the last game of the season knowing they are in the driving seat for the Europa League.
If Tottenham win both their remaining games they will finish above West Ham regardless by virtue of their superior goal difference.
