Rio Ferdinand names the fee West Ham will sell Mohammed Kudus for

Mohammed Kudus may well not be a West Ham United player for very long according to Rio Ferdinand.

However, Rio Ferdinand has suggested that it will take ‘big money’ to prise Mohammed Kudus away from West Ham.

Hammers boss David Moyes brought the 23-year-old attacker to the London Stadium from Ajax for around £38 million in the summer, and he has been a huge hit at the club, settling in far quicker than Moyes expected.

The Ghana international has already bagged 10 goals and an assist for West Ham (Who Scored), and he has taken the Premier League by storm.

Kudus has the strength and pace needed to succeed in the Premier League, and I have no doubts that he’ll continue to go from strength to strength for us.

Will he be a Hammer this time next year though?

The former West Ham man has been speaking about the Ghanaian star on his podcast.

And Ferdinand responded on Vibe with Five podcast when Joel Beya suggested that Kudus will not be at the London Stadium for long:

“Not yet. It’ll take big money to take him out of there – £75m.”

I actually think it will take more than that to prise him away from the London Stadium.

He doesn’t have a release clause inserted into his contract, not that I’m aware of anyway.

I believe that it will take upwards of £90 million to prise Mohammed Kudus away from West Ham – at least £15 million more than Rio Ferdinand suggested.

I’m just hoping that we keep hold of him for the foreseeable future. He is such a great player and could go on to become a legend at the London Stadium.
