West Ham United beat Nottingham Forest 4-0 yesterday but unfortunately, Lukasz Fabianski went off injured midway through the second-half.
The 37-year-old West Ham goalkeeper got a really nasty whack on his eye yesterday during our win over Forest.

The scores were tied at 0-0 at the time, and Fabianski’s injury delayed the game for a good five minutes or more.

Alphonse Areola came on in Fab’s place, and West Ham went on to score four goals after that substitution!
The Frenchman actually did well when he came on and made a couple of decent saves. But will Fabianski be available for selection for our next game?
David Moyes provides injury update on West Ham goalkeeper
The Hammers boss addressed the media after yesterday’s 4-0 win over Forest at the London Stadium.
And David Moyes responded when asked to provide an update on Fabianski after the nasty blow that he received to his eye, as quoted by Football.London:

“You’ve probably seen Lukasz’s eye is quite bad, I think we’re more worried about his eye socket area, that sort of thing. I’ve had a look, he seems okay. Obviously it’s come up very quickly and it’s black and blue.”
West Ham’s next game is against Manchester United in the FA Cup on Wednesday night.
Areola would most likely have played that game anyway, but it will be interesting to see whether Fabianski is back ready to play for the Hammers against Brighton next weekend.
As good as Fabianski has been for us over the past 4.5 years, I believe that Areola should be our number one.
And maybe, just maybe, the 29-year-old will get the opportunity to make the number one jersey his own over the next few weeks.
The comments from David Moyes on Fabianski seem to suggest that he might be out for at least a week or so. Let’s hope that he recovers quickly.
