One of West Ham United boss David Moyes’s prime January transfer targets has collapsed in training.
Moyes will make definite decision on Celtic approach claims insider close to owners
Hammers boss Moyes identified Moussa Dembele as Sebastien Haller’s replacement as far back as November according to the likes of The Sun.
Then no sooner had West Ham announced the £20million sale of the flop striker to Ajax than reports emerged stating Dembele was Moyes’s number one striker target (RMC Sport).

Dembele was a prime target for West Ham boss Moyes in January
West Ham’s preferred modus operandi when it comes to signings under David Sullivan and David Gold – particularly in the current climate – is on loan with an option to buy.
So when news emerged from France in January that Lyon were open to such a deal, it was music to West Ham’s ears.
But there was bad news for Moyes when Spanish giants Atletico Madrid pounded to sign Dembele on loan with the option to buy at the end of the season.
According to Goal, Dembele had no interest in joining West Ham, snubbing them for Atletico.

French striker snubbed Hammers for Atleti but move has not worked out and his future is uncertain
West Ham have continued their push for the Champions League places despite having injury-prone Michail Antonio as their only forward.
But snubbing West Ham for Atletico has not worked out for 24-year-old Dembele. He has played just two games since signing with no goals to show thus far.
And Football Espana reports that he is unlikely to be signed permanently at the end of his six-month loan spell.
That may give Moyes food for thought over his striker targets come the summer.

‘Panic’ as Hammers target collapses in training
But Dembele made the headlines earlier today when reports emerged he had collapsed in training.
Dembele sparked panic among his Atletico Madrid teammates and staff after collapsing during training on Tuesday.
The Frenchman appeared to lose consciousness while stretching his hamstrings.
He fell motionless to the ground in distressing footage caught on camera (talkSPORT).
According to reports, the Moyes target has since undergone medical checks, which put his sudden fainting down to low blood pressure.
There is reportedly no cause for any serious concern about the Lyon loanee’s health. And he is thankfully said to be OK.
