Opta Supercomputer makes West Ham relegation prediction after Wolves loss and Leeds draw vs Man United

West Ham United and Leeds United are both aiming to finish 17th or higher in the Premier League in order to avoid relegation.

Nuno Espirito Santo is feeling the heat at West Ham as his side are in the bottom three, four points behind 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.

It also did not help that the Hammers lost 3-0 to Wolves over the weekend while Leeds United picked up a point against Manchester United, with that game ending 1-1.

If you could replace Nuno with one out-of-work manager, who are you picking?

And why?

Nuno now faces a must-win game against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, or he could be in danger of getting sacked.

Opta Supercomputer predicts West Ham to finish on 32 points

Opta’s Supercomputer has crunched the numbers after the weekend’s results and has predicted the Irons to end up with 32 points after 38 games.

That, unfortunately, is not expected to be enough to keep them in the Premier League for next season.

Forest, who are predicted to finish in 17th, are on course for 38 points, according to the Supercomputer.

Opta is predicting that West Ham United will only pick up 18 more points from their remaining games, as they currently have only 14, with three wins, five draws and 12 losses.

This is shocking! 😰 Relegation is going to be dire for West Ham…

What would YOU do to avoid this mess?

What does Nuno need to change at West Ham?

It is evident that whatever Nuno is trying at West Ham is not working, and there needs to be a major change.

He has been given two strikers in the January transfer window, with Pablo and Taty Castellanos walking through the door.

This means that the Portuguese must now set up a more attacking system to get the best out of them.

Nuno may need to drop Lucas Paqueta, Crysencio Summerville and Max Kilman, who have been his favourites as their performances have been underwhelming.

A system change could also be considered and it may even be time for a couple of players from the academy to be given more game time.

Support exists for the Portuguese behind the scenes, but it could soon run out, and being seven points adrift of safety would surely not help his cause.

That is why he must act quickly and make some major changes for the Forest game.
