Julen Lopetegui is surely heading for the exit door at West Ham United after another damning revelation.
West Ham have endured a disastrous 2024/25 campaign after Julen Lopetegui arrived at the London Stadium in the summer.
It has been claimed that Lopetegui faces the sack if his side’s performances do not improve in our next two games, let alone the results.
West Ham have been dreadful this season, and we can consider ourselves fairly fortunate to be on our current points total.
The Hammers have lost by three goals or more EIGHT times this season – an unacceptable statistic to say the least.

The standard of our performances have been sub-par, and Lopetegui seems to be at a loss regarding how to turn things around.
And now a shocking new revelation has come to light that means he should be sacked imminently, if the board had anything about them.
New Julen Lopetegui revelation surely means he’ll be sacked
The Spaniard has failed to improve the quality of the football at the London Stadium.
However, what makes that totally unacceptable is some of the awful defeats we’ve been on the end of this season.
Sunday’s 5-0 home loss to Liverpool was the tipping point for most fans.
The Hammers players were far too passive and they allowed Liverpool to have their way with them.
It was a truly disgraceful, cowardly setup from Lopetegui – one that deserved nothing more than a 5-0 defeat.
Aside from the odd decent performance here and there (away at Newcastle and home to Ipswich), West Ham have been miles off it this season.

And now a new revelation from The Times surely means Lopetegui will be sacked within the next three days.
The British broadsheet newspaper has highlighted just how poor we have been without the ball this season:
“West Ham allow their opponents on average 13.5 passes before they make a defensive action. That means they have one of the least intensive presses in the league.”
“If you’re a team that likes to sit back and allow the opposition to have the ball — such as Everton or Forest — that’s fine. The problem is, if you press up against your opponents man-to-man, and set up to play with intensity, but press without it, it’s very easy for opponents to play through you, find open space and get good opportunities to score.“
What a truly shocking statistic that is, and it proves to em that the players simply aren’t playing for Lopetegui.
It has actually been claimed that West Ham could sack Julen Lopetegui if we lose heavily to Manchester City on Saturday.
And another tepid, passive performance against the Premier League champions could well mean that the Hammers are looking for a new manager within the next 48-72 hours.
