West Ham United were absolutely hammered by Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday night.
It was a disgraceful performance all around from West Ham, and Roshane Thomas has highlighted the extent of the problems we’re currently facing.

Hammers News compiled our West Ham player ratings from the game, and that in itself told its own story.
Julen Lopetegui is clearly not fit to be in charge at the London Stadium, and David Sullivan has to make a bold change in the managerial department, if he wants to save our season.

The Hammers have regressed under the Spaniard, and that’s saying something considering how poor we were during the second-half of the 2023/24 campaign.
How Lopetegui is still in the job genuinely baffles me.
A new revelation has emerged and it should give David Sullivan a very easy decision to make.
Revelation after Liverpool will embarrass the West Ham players
The Hammers have been miles off the required standards this season.
The thing that worries me is that it seems to be getting worse and worse under Lopetegui right now.

There is no end it sight it seems, and with games against Manchester City and Fulham in the Premier League and Aston Villa in the FA Cup to come in our next three, the outlook is bleak for West Ham right now.
Now, a new revelation has come to light proving just how poor we’ve been, and it’s a damning indictment of Lopetegui.
Athletic journalist Roshane Thomas took to his X account during the half-time break of our 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.
And the mess he posted highlights just how bad we have been this season:
Letting in three goals or more on EIGHT separate occasions is simply unacceptable isn’t it.
There must be something badly wrong behind the scenes at the London Stadium right now.
Julen Lopetegui is quite clearly the wrong man for the job, and he is currently overseeing a painful regression.
The West Ham board absolutely should have sacked the 58-year-old immediately after our 5-0 defeat to Liverpool.
They didn’t though, and that’s an example of the lack of ambition that has undermined us as a club over the past decade or so.
