Mohammed Kudus has spoken out after West Ham United lost 2-1 to Liverpool on Sunday.

West Ham were actually unlucky to lose to Liverpool, and we were genuinely the better team in the second-half, with the likes of Mohammed Kudus putting in a much improved performance.

Graham Potter has failed to make much of an impact since taking over at the London Stadium, but there are definitely some signs that the Hammers are on the right track with the 49-year-old at the helm.

Potter faces such a tough task if he is to turn things around, due to the poor squad building in previous years.

The bad news is that West Ham may have to sell Mohammed Kudus in order to raise funds for the summer rebuild lying in wait for Potter.

The Hammers players will be incredibly disappointed to have left Anfield with nothing to show for their efforts.

Potter has massively improved the way that his team defends in general over the past three months.

However, West Ham’s attacking play recently has left a lot to be desired. Mo Kudus’s poor form has played a big factor in our struggles inside the final third.

Despite his poor form, the Hammers fans have continued to support him.

Kudus spoke to reporters after the game on Sunday, and shared something that he noticed about the travelling West Ham fans at Anfield, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“The effort, energy, encouragement and everything from the whole team is the least we can give the fans. We lost the game, but you could see the energy from the fans after the game, and they know that we put in a good shift and we did our best.

“Every game we can be confident, and for the rest of the season we will be doing our best to get results and finish the season strongly.”

Mohammed Kudus could be Arsenal bound as West Ham set new asking price

The Ghanaian superstar is a transfer target for Arsenal this summer.

And the Hammers will apparently demand £74 million for his signature, according to a report from Africa Foot.

Whilst no West Ham fan will want to lose Mohammed Kudus to Arsenal in the summer, selling him may well be a necessary evil for the club.

The funds from that sale would set us up perfectly for the summer transfer window.
