West Ham United are on the cusp of bringing Maximilian Hahn to the London Stadium from Bundsesliga side Werder Bremen.

Maximilian Hahn is reportedly being eyed up as the new West Ham head of technical scouting and analysis.

There will undoubtedly be some kind of reshuffle at the London Stadium, with the Hammers currently well stocked in the backroom scouting department.

Mark Noble is our sporting director and Tim Steidten is the director of football, whilst Rob Newman is the head of recruitment.

David Moyes obviously has a big say on incomings and outgoings as well, whilst David Sullivan has been known to get involved in the past too.

Could this be a case of too many cooks spoil the broth? We will soon find out, but that shouldn’t detract from the fact that West Ham seem to be on the verge of securing a real coup…

Maximilian Hahn will join West Ham from Werder Bremen by February 1st

According to BILD, Maximilian Hahn is all set to take over as the head of technical scouting and analysis by the start of next month.

The 28-year-old is the current ‘Sports Technologies Coordinator’ at Werder Bremen, and he has a UEFA B license coaching badge (Transfermarkt).

He was the assistant manager at Dynamo Dresden and more recently Darmstadt, before taking up his current role with Bremen.

Bild explain that Hahn is ‘considered to be a top expert’ in the area of analysis and data-based scouting, so the fact that West Ham appear to have poached him from Bremen should really excite the fans.

Hopefully the German plays a big role in our future success.
