Mark Lawrenson has highlighted how West Ham can really hurt Leicester this afternoon at the King Power Stadium.
The Hammers head to the East Midlands to take on the Foxes today for what is a vitally important game.
David Moyes has worked wonders since taking over at the London Stadium in December 2019.

The Scot has taken us from a relegation threatened side to a top six team. We are currently sitting in fourth spot in the Premier League table, have a fifth round FA Cup clash with Southampton to look forward to and are in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Things are looking very bright at the London Stadium at the moment. A win this afternoon against Leicester would put us in a really strong position as we head into the final third of the season.
And it seems fairly obvious how we need to target Leicester’s weakness today…
Mark Lawrenson has advice for West Ham ahead of Leicester clash
A win today at the King Power Stadium for West Ham would really put the pressure on our rivals.
And Mark Lawrenson told BBC Sport how the Hammers can really hurt Brendan Rodgers’ side this afternoon:

“Leicester are having a poor season, especially at the back, but for them that means they are 11th or 12th at the moment rather than fourth or fifth. There are mitigating circumstances for Brendan Rodgers’ side, who have had some long-term injury problems to contend with, but they have to get better at defending set-pieces, starting on Sunday, because West Ham are very strong in those situations.”
Prediction 1-1
Lawro has got this one spot on…aside from his 1-1 prediction of course! West Ham absolutely must try and get the ball into the box whenever we can because Leicester have proven time and time again that they just cannot defend properly from set-pieces.
Stats favour Hammers
The Hammers scored more goals (16) from set-pieces than any other team in the Premier League last season (Who Scored).
Meanwhile, Leicester had the sixth worst record in the league from defending corners and free-kicks.
This season, West Ham have scored eight goals from set-pieces in the Premier League – the fifth most in the division, whilst Leicester have conceded 12 – more than any other club.
It’s obvious where the Hammers need to target the Foxes today. Hopefully we cause them all sorts of problems and win the game.
