Lucas Paqueta continues to be linked with a move to Manchester City but West Ham clearly mean a lot to the Brazilian star.

David Moyes should be thanking his lucky stars that Lucas Paqueta’s proposed £85m summer move from West Ham to Man City collapsed.

Nobody better than Lucas Paqueta sing West Ham fans.

And they’re not wrong.

Nobody better than Paqueta and here’s the proof

The Hammers have not won any of the seven league matches Paqueta has missed this term, compared to a record of 12 wins in 20 with him in the side.

One of the Brazilian magnifico’s West Ham teammates has even said he is so good it makes the rest of the side look bad.

It’s no great secret that talisman Paqueta would be a Manchester City player now were it not for the illegal betting accusations made against him. Allegations he vehemently denies as the case rumbles on in the background.

Paqueta continues to be linked with Man City move

Speculation has abound that Manchester City will resurrect the Paqueta deal with West Ham in the summer window.

Especially after it emerged Paqueta’s people are pushing the FA for a conclusion so he can get what the football press have billed a “dream” move.

A well connected journalist told me last week that there is one big hope Paqueta will stay with West Ham.

But no matter what happens our brilliant Brazilian really does seem to love it at the club.

Brazilian magnifico shows just what West Ham mean to him

And Paqueta has left West Ham in no doubt over his feelings with a social post after the win at Everton.

Paqueta has taken to Instagram and X to show his love for the Hammers.

“West Ham massive,” Paqueta said alongside a picture of him celebrating at Goodison Park with Jarrod Bowen and Emerson as well as heart, Hammers and praying hands emojis.

“To God be the Glory!!!!! +3 (points).”

Paqueta has also posted clips of him in action against Everton on his Instagram Stories.

The Hammers really are blessed to have a player like Paqueta.

But it’s clear he appreciates the club too, regardless of what happens in the summer.
