Jurgen Klopp’s shock Liverpool exit announcement is seriously good news for West Ham United after his very public admission.
Jurgen Klopp rocked the football world today by officially announcing he is to step down as the manager of Liverpool at the end of the season.
And the reverberations will be felt precisely 227.5 miles away from Anfield at West Ham.
Besides the fact Klopp’s Liverpool departure will likely considerably weaken one of West Ham’s Premier League rivals, it has another huge upside for the Hammers.
Because Klopp’s shock Liverpool exit is seriously good news for West Ham after his very public admission.

Klopp’s shock exit is seriously good for West Ham
West Ham fans will be well aware of the Liverpool manager’s longstanding admiration for top scorer Jarrod Bowen.
For the avoidance of doubt, though, Klopp reiterated it last month when he admitted Hammers star Bowen is his favourite player outside of Liverpool.
Bowen has been linked with Liverpool for several years, with reports claiming Klopp wants the West Ham hitman as Mohammed Salah’s heir.
The German’s comments about Bowen were underlined when he scored a fabulous goal in West Ham’s 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool in the Carabao Cup. It was the West Ham star’s second goal at Anfield this season.
West Ham supporters had been unaffected by the fresh Liverpool links to their star man since he signed a new seven-year deal in October.

Huge Bowen relief
But that has not stopped rumours that there may be a secret clause included in the contract.
Especially when Hammers sporting director Mark Noble was somewhat coy when asked about that live on air in light of Klopp’s comments last month.
Liverpool will be mourning the impending departure of their best manager for a generation.
But David Moyes and everyone connected with West Ham can surely breathe a sigh of relief because Klopp was the driving force behind the Reds’ interest in Bowen.
Without Klopp at the helm, Bowen – having penned that long-term deal and stating he wants to finish his career with West Ham – not looks set to do just that.
You can almost hear the collective sigh of relief in east London.
