Journalist close to David Sullivan says Declan Rice to Arsenal transfer saga has reached its climax.

According to Sean Whetstone, a reporter with close links to West Ham owner David Sullivan, Declan Rice has now filmed his announcement video ahead of his his move to Arsenal.

And all that remains his for the Gunners to transfer the first £33.33 million instalment that is due to the Hammers.

This is a transfer that has been worked on by both clubs for a very long time.

However, there were concerns from the Arsenal fans when recent reports suggested that West Ham were growing frustrated with the fact that the north London outfit were dragging their feet with the deal.

The Hammers fans just want Rice gone now as well, so that David Moyes can get on with his own transfer business.

It seems as though the deal will now go through imminently…

The fact that the deal took this long to complete is annoying in the extreme because it has held up our summer business.

However, a deal with the magnitude of the Rice to Arsenal one will always take time.

It seems as though the West Ham and Arsenal fans can finally move on.
