Shock report claims Manchester United midfielder Fred could now join West Ham United this summer.
According to 90 Min journalist Graeme Bailey via the Talking Transfers podcast, West Ham have ‘sniffed around’ for Manchester United midfielder Fred in the summer transfer window.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium this summer, with Declan Rice set to join Arsenal.
West Ham have already been linked with numerous different defensive midfielders in the summer transfer window.
And now there is a new name to add to the list…
Shock report claims Manchester United ace Fred has drawn attention from West Ham
The 30-year-old Brazilian is on the Hammers’ radar it seems.
Graeme Bailey told the Talking Transfers podcast that West Ham have eyed a move for Fred:
“[Manchester] United would like over £20million for him. They’re not getting that. I think Fulham have an interest. West Ham have sniffed, Saudi Arabia. There’s interest in Italy. Interestingly, Jose Mourinho likes Fred and McTominay. I think you’re looking at £15 million, roughly around that figure. He’s not a bad player. I think he’s one that Erik ten Haag liked a lot, but in the last month of the season, he really dropped down the pecking order somewhat. It’s not a massive surprise, he’s one who will go.”
Fred is out of contract at Old Trafford next summer, so the £20 million asking price from Man United does seem to be a little steep.
On top of that, Moyes should be targeting young and hungry players with high ceilings – not a 30-year-old who is now on the downturn of his career.
Fred has been a fine player for Manchester United, but West Ham quite simply shouldn’t be going anywhere near him this summer in my opinion.
