West Ham United have reportedly made an official bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

With Declan Rice set to join Arsenal this summer, Hammers boss Moyes needs to bring in a truly elite central midfielder to replace the 24-year-old.
Amrabat is certainly that, and we all saw just how good he was first hand during the Europa Conference League final last month.
And it seems as though Moyes has firmly set his eyes on the Moroccan…
West Ham face two very big problems if we are to sign Sofyan Amrabat to replace Declan Rice
Football journalist Enzo Bucchioni via Fiorentina News reckons that the Hammers have moved into position to bring the Fiorentina midfielder to the London Stadium this summer.
The £30 million bid from West Ham, if successful, would make Amrabat our fifth most expensive signing of all-time behind only Lucas Paqueta, Sebastien Haller, Felipe Anderson and Gianluca Scamacca.

Here’s the problem though, Amrabat isn’t keen on joining the Hammers according to Fiorentina News, and Fiorentina want closer to £43 million for the Morocco international (Football Italia).
So if Moyes does want to sign him, he’ll have to try and convince him to join whilst David Sullivan will have to make him our third most costly signing ever.
I think West Ham need to go all out here and do whatever it takes to bring Sofyan Amrabat to the London Stadium.
He is a truly elite defensive midfielder, and if we sign him alongside a top-class box-to-box central midfielder, then there is no reason why the Hammers can’t become a better team than what we were with Rice.
