West Ham unofficially sealed Premier League survival with a deserved 1-0 win over Manchester United at the London Stadium.
The Hammers were the better side for large spells against a jaded looking Man United side.
And David Moyes’ men deservedly led at the break, although it was not without some long overdue good fortune.
Said Benrahma fired a weak attempt at goal from outside the box and David de Gea made a hash of it, as it bounced into the net off his outstretched hand.
West Ham had earned the luck, though. They could – and perhaps should – have won by a more comfortable margin in the end.

But to a man the Hammers were absolutely magnificent. And so were the supporters.
The London Stadium is much maligned by some fans. But the atmosphere was electric against Man United.
A combination of good weather, a later kick-off and the front-foot approach of the team had the former Olympic arena rocking.
Hammers heroes Declan Rice and Lucas Paqueta stole the show against the Red Devils.

White was at the game and got to go behind the Irons curtain afterwards as he posed for pictures with Rice and Paqueta.
‘Place was bouncing’ was White’s verdict on the atmosphere at the ground.
And the media man managed to bag an interview with Rice for his radio show this morning as a result.
“Great win for West Ham tonight!” White said alongside pictures with Rice and Paqueta.
“Place was bouncing!
“Huge performance from Declan as West Ham beat Man United 1-0 last night – hear him with us on talkSPORT around 10.30am this morning.”
The atmosphere for the Man United match was very similar to that of some of the famous European nights West Ham have had over the last couple of seasons.
And it promises to be another cauldron of noise when AZ Alkmaar come to town for the Europa Conference League semi-final first leg on Thursday night.
