talkSPORT presenter Jason Cundy has absolutely raved about West Ham United and tipped them for the Champions League.
Deal agreed as West Ham fans save iconic piece of the club’s heritage after GSB snub
Cundy’s gushing praise is the best assessment of West Ham yet and will fill Hammers fans with pride.
The lifelong Chelsea fan brilliantly dissected what David Moyes has built at West Ham.
Although he did fire a warning that big money could on the way for amazing Hammers duo Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek.

Soucek and Rice the bedrock of West Ham’s Champions League push
West Ham are on course for their best season in 35 years under Moyes.
Soucek and Rice have been the bedrock of West Ham’s success as they chase a Champions League spot.
Cundy told talkSPORT West Ham are no flash in the pan. He said West Ham are one of his favourite sides to watch and backed them to stay in the Champions League hunt to the end.
Cundy was speaking after Soucek scored a perfect hat-trick for the Czech Republic in World Cup qualifying in midweek.
He told talkSPORT the pair are so good they will attract bids from Europe’s elite. But he added West Ham may be soon be rubbing shoulders with those clubs in the Champions League.

Cundy absolutely raves about Hammers and delivers the best pundi assessment fans will see all season
“They’re going to struggle, I think, to hold on to the two midfielders because if big money bids come in West Ham – unless they’re in the Champions League – will possibly find it hard to hold on to them because huge money is going to come in for those two,” Cundy said on talkSPORT.
“Soucek has been brilliant. There’s not a lot he can’t do. He can win the ball, he scores goals, brilliant in the air, defensively solid. All round they’ve got a little bit of everything those two, Rice and Soucek.
“They (West Ham) have a got a good manager who tactically knows how to get a tune out of a team… There’s a manager there who knows how to organise a team defensively ok. He is quite a pragmatic coach but he has got the balance of the team right.
“We spoke about the midfield of Soucek and Rice, possibly the best midfield partnership in the country. If there’s anybody out there better than those two, there ain’t many better than them.

‘I enjoy watching West Ham play, they’re no flash in the pan’
“(Vladimir) Coufal the right back that’s come in, (Pablo) Fornals is another one that’s added something different. (Craig) Dawson? I mean rolling back the years. The balance of the side is good, it’s got a nice feel about it.
“(Jesse) Lingard has come in and added a little zip, he’s given them something fresh, something new. (Michail) Antonio up top will work and work, big strong boy, good first touch, causes problems, quick, strong, good in the air.
“I enjoy watching West Ham play. There’s a lot of teams in the Premier League you look at and go ‘God, I don’t (fancy watching them), but I like watching West Ham. They’re easy on the eye, they’ve got a nice style, they play with purpose, they know what they’re doing, well organised.
“They had a tough start, lost at home to Newcastle and I think they might have lost the next game. But they have been doing this all season, this is not just West Ham going through the gears and climbing up the table. They’ve been there or thereabouts having good, solid, consistent performances all season. We (Chelsea) beat them 3-0. How we beat them 3-0 at our place I don’t know.”
