Jamie O’Hara was speaking on talkSPORT last night and proved that Tottenham fans suggesting that West Ham view our game against them as our cup final is a complete and utter fallacy.

In fact, it could be argued that it’s the other way around! The Tottenham fans seem to be obsessed with us now.

Since David Moyes’s arrival at the London Stadium for the second time in December 2019, the Hammers have won two and drawn one of our four clashes with Spurs.

We certainly have them rattled that’s for sure.

But it’s ‘their cup final’ the Tottenham fans shout every time West Ham take on their team.

It’s a London derby for heavens sake. Of course the players and the fans are going to be up for it. If you don’t celebrate a win against your London rivals then football might just not be for you.

Jamie O’Hara has just proven how obsessed Tottenham fans are with West Ham

The well-known and often controversial talkSPORT pundit was speaking after Spurs and the Hammers progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup last night:

“You know what I’d love, if we play West Ham in the Carabao Cup final and we win. That would be a dream. I don’t care where they finish in the league.”

Talk about triggered!

Apparently it’s our cup final but here is one of Tottenham’s most famous fans talking about how much he would love Spurs to beat West Ham in…a cup final!

Your really couldn’t make it up.

Tottenham undoubtedly have better individuals than us but we are the better all-round team, there is no disputing that.
