Salven Bilic has been considered as a replacement for David Moyes on an interim basis by the West Ham board.
According to a report from The Guardian, David Moyes is still feeling the heat at West Ham in spite of last weekend’s win over Fulham, and Slaven Bilic was looked at as a potential replacement for the 59-year-old on an interim basis.

Bilic was manager of the Hammers from the summer of 2015 and gave us all some really memorable nights under the lights at Upton Park.
He was sacked in November 2017 though, and David Moyes replaced him. The Scot was then moved on at the end of the season only to be replaced by Manuel Pellegrini.
Moyes returned to the London Stadium in December 2019, and despite an incredible first two years in charge of the Hammers, he is now under real pressure after an awful 2022/23 Premier League campaign.
And it seems as though he certainly isn’t immune to the sack this late in the season…
Slaven Bilic considered by West Ham
The Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg has suggested that Moyes is under real pressure at West Ham.
Before the Fulham game, Slaven Bilic was being considered by the Hammers board.
Had we lost at Craven Cottage then who knows, perhaps Moyes would have been moved on.
I’m not against the idea of an interim manager coming in at this stage of the season. Someone like Bilic would undoubtedly give everyone a huge lift.
However, the most important thing for West Ham to do will be to avoid relegation and bring in a big upgrade on Moyes in the summer.
Slaven Bilic had some really good times at West Ham, but there’s a reason why he was only being considered as an interim replacement for Moyes. As mentioned above though, the Croatian has the ability to make a short-term impact at the London Stadium.
It will be interesting to see what happens if the Hammers lose our next two games against Arsenal and Bournemouth respectively. Maybe Bilic will get the call.
