As a result, Hammers boss David Moyes didn’t have a centre-forward to bring off the bench against either Spurs or Chelsea.
Scamacca looks the real deal. He has bagged two goals since joining in the summer from Sassuolo for around £30 million plus add-ons.

Both of those goals have come in the UEFA Europa Conference League, however, and he will be desperate to break his duck in the Premier League.
The goals will undoubtedly start to flow for the Italian. And he should be back in action over the next few days against FCSB and Newcastle respectively…
Scamacca could be back for West Ham against FCSB and Newcastle
Having the towering centre-forward back and available for selection will be a huge boost for David Moyes.

Michail Antonio is always a dangerous option for the Scot but the 32-year-old can’t do everything on his own.
We think that Scamacca will undoubtedly feature for West Ham against both FCSB and Newcastle. Whether he starts both games remains to be seen.
But the 23-year-old will certainly be available if Moyes needs him.

It’s great to see Scamacca back. Hopefully the goals now start flowing on a consistent basis for the Italian.
