Graham Potter has a lot of work to do with his West Ham United squad.
Poor squad management at West Ham over the past two years has left Graham Potter with the unenviable task of overseeing a major rebuild at the London Stadium.
It was claimed just last month that Graham Potter is planning a big squad revamp at West Ham.
And boy do the Hammers need that.

West Ham have the oldest squad in the Premier League, and that needs to change quickly.

The problem is that money is tight at West Ham right now. So Potter will have to be thrifty in his player recruitment this summer.
However, the latest update from Potter will be a huge downer for the Hammers.
Graham Potter discusses West Ham’s summer rebuild
Potter addressed the media on Thursday afternoon ahead of the Hammers’ clash with Southampton on Saturday.
The Hammers head coach discussed a variety of topics.
Towards the end of his presser, attention switched to potential incomings at the London Stadium this summer.
And Potter responded when asked if he does in fact need to oversee a major rebuild at the London Stadium, as quoted by WHUFC.com:
“I wouldn’t say we need a major rebuild. All teams look to improve.
“We’re not where we want to be, but we have to work together to put a team together our fans can be proud of.“
Oh dear Graham – that really is the last thing we needed to hear as fans.
Graham Potter underestimating West Ham’s problems is dangerous
If the Hammers are to make any kind of progress whatsoever, Potter needs to get real with just how many deficiencies his squad have.

West Ham need a new goalkeeper, at least one centre-back, a box-to-box midfielder, a play-making midfielder, a pacy winger and at least one striker.
A summer with just two or three incomings will not be acceptable, and regression will be almost guaranteed.
Graham Potter has to make at least six top-class signings for West Ham this summer, whilst moving on as much of the deadwood as he can.
However, whether or not Hammers co-owner David Sullivan will enable him to do just that remains to be seen.
