Gary Neville absolutely raved about Mohammed Kudus during West Ham United’s 4-1 win over Brentford last night.

Mohammed Kudus bagged an assist for West Ham against the Bees, and despite not being at his thrilling best, he still caused Sergio Reguilon problems all night long.

Hammers boss David Moyes would have been delighted with the three points, because when the score was 2-1, the atmosphere inside the London Stadium was very tense indeed.

Kudus, 23, spoke about his respect for Moyes before the game last night, and he ended up playing a role in potentially saving the Scot’s job.

The Ghanaian had Reguilon on toast all game, and provided a brilliant assist for Jarrod Bowen to nod home his hat-trick goal.

Gary Neville blown away by West Ham ace Mohammed Kudus

The Sky Sports pundit absolutely loved something that the West Ham man did last night.

And Neville shared something specific Kudus did that really blew him away, when speaking on Sky Sports (Monday February 28th, 9.22pm):

“There was a part of that goal that I really loved. Being a full-back myself, I used to hate it when the wide player would get the ball and run at you with real aggression, and Kudus did that. He’s been quite erratic at times tonight in his play, Bowen gets a hat-trick, but it’s laid on a plate for him. Reguilon, Kudus just goes and puts him inside the box, he scoops it up beautifully into a great area and I love that.”

As mentioned earlier, Kudus was far from at his best last night, but the fact that he still bagged a brilliant assist is evidence of his sheer quality.

The Ghanaian is a sensational footballer, and he must give opposing defenders absolute nightmares when he’s running at them.

Mohammed Kudus will be vital for West Ham during the remainder of the season, if we are to achieve any kind of success whatsoever.

Neville highlighted how the 23-year-old can change a match in an instant, and it really is great to have a game-changer like that in our side.
