West Ham United boss David Moyes apparently could be in the running to become Crystal Palace manager this time next year.
Crystal Palace have just appointed Oliver Glasner on a deal that runs until the summer of 2026, so to tip West Ham manager David Moyes for the job at Selhurst Park is certainly a bold shout.
The Hammers are in the midst of a really poor run of form right now, so there is absolutely nothing crazy about predicting that Moyes will not be in charge of the club this time next year.
However, to suggest that he’ll be at the helm at Selhurst Park really is quite the prediction. Glasner would have to have a really awful time in charge of Palace to lose his job in 12 months or less.
One football journalist thinks that it could well happen though…

Football journalist suggests David Moyes could become Crystal Palace boss
Irish football pundit Ger Gilroy has been speaking on the Off The Ball podcast about Moyes and his future in the game.
Gilroy suggested that he can see the Scot taking over at Palace this time next year:
“Someone this time next year will hire David Moyes, give him £1.5-£2m a year to avoid relegation. Crystal Palace would have him.”
I just can’t see this one happening one little bit. Glasner is a very good and ambitious coach, and I think he’ll do a really good job at Palace.
I don’t think David Moyes will be at West Ham this time next year, but I don’t believe he’ll be in charge of Crystal Palace either.
I wouldn’t put it past him returning to Everton or a club in Scotland. One thing I do know for sure is that he is not the man we need to take us forward.
