Hammers fans react as West Ham openly flirt with reported January transfer target Jesse Lingard on social media.
West Ham have been incessantly linked with Lingard since ever since his sensational loan spell at the London Stadium last season.

The 29-year-old decided to stay at Old Trafford in the summer after receiving assurances over game time from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian was not true to his word, though, with Lingard barely featuring while West Ham mount another challenge for the top four.
Solskjaer has since been replaced by Ralf Rangnick. And as reported by Hammers News, Man United will not stand in Lingard’s way if he wants to return to West Ham in January.

There have been conflicting reports about whether Lingard is looking to move in January or wait until the summer when his Man United contract expires.
Well West Ham are doing their bit to flutter their eyelids in Lingard’s direction that’s for sure.
Ahead of the game against Spurs, the Hammers media team posted a video of Lingard scoring a sensational goal against Tottenham last season.

“Dancing his way through the defence,” West Ham said alongside the video and dancing emojis.
It is not the first time West Ham and Lingard have flirted on social media of late.
And the former West Ham loan star also commented on the West Ham post about a goal he scored to which Declan Rice responded.
