A football fan was so starstruck meeting West Ham and England ace Declan Rice at a petrol station that he drove home and forgot to fill up.
Rice has established himself as one of the finest midfielders in Europe over the last couple of years with his performances for West Ham and England.
And this season the Hammers ace has taken his game to new levels in a rampaging box-to-box role.

Former West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola recently revealed that Italy’s players were delighted when Rice was substituted by England boss Gareth Southgate in the Euros final as they felt he was the Three Lions’ best player.
Rice has become a key player for club and country and one of the most popular characters in the Premier League.
This week one football fan happened to see Rice when he pulled into a petrol station to fill up.

But the fan was so starstruck after the West Ham and England ace posed for a picture with him, that he forgot to put petrol in as he excitedly drove home.
Footie fan Mark Janney took to Twitter to share the hilarious story involving West Ham’s talisman.
“When you’re so thrown by meeting Declan Rice at the petrol garage you drive home and realise you forgot to put petrol in,” Janney said on Twitter alongside a picture with Rice and of his petrol gauge on empty.

The brilliant post has gone viral, getting over 17,000 likes on Twitter.
West Ham fans will be desperately hoping Rice doesn’t run out of fuel as the club chases glory during the run-in.
The Hammers are fighting on three fronts but there are signs of late that David Moyes’s side are running on fumes too.
It comes after Rice showed his class once again this week.
West Ham narrowly beat National League North side Kidderminster Harriers 2-1 in the FA Cup a few weeks ago.

Rice was West Ham’s hero on the day, coming on to rescue his side with a brilliant last gasp goal.
Kiddy’s Matt Preston was one of the stars of that game and was unfortunately seriously injured in the club’s game against Alfreton at the weekend.
The ankle injury was so serious Preston was rushed to hospital and the match was abandoned.
When West Ham midfielder Rice learned of the injury he took to social media to wish the defender well.
