Ex West Ham star Don Hutchison says under pressure David Moyes should walk out on the club’s ungrateful fans.
The future of David Moyes at West Ham continues to drive heated debate and fervent speculation.
The Scot was set to sign a new deal with the Hammers in January. Moyes even publicly stated he expected to have the contract sorted after the transfer window.
No wins in eight games so far in 2024 has seen those plans allegedly put on the back burner.
And reports have claimed the Irons have a four-man shortlist to replace Moyes.
Some West Ham fans unfurled banners and held aloft signs saying ‘Moyes Out’ after the defeat at Forest.

Ex West Ham star Hutchison says Moyes should walk out
That – and a mass walkout during the 6-0 defeat to Arsenal the weekend before – has fuelled further speculation that the Hammers hierarchy may part ways with the manager.
But one former star feels the boss should take matters into his hands.
Ex West Ham star Don Hutchison says Moyes should walk out on ungrateful fans.
Speaking on X, Hutchison – who played for the Hammers in two separate spells – made it clear he loves West Ham and the fans.
But he believes those calling for Moyes to go have got it horribly wrong.
Responding to a view of a West Ham fan stating they would take defeats if it expedited Moyes’ exit, Hutchison was unequivocal in his views.

‘Sorry but he has done a great job’
“If I was David Moyes and this opinion was the majority, I would walk out on the club tomorrow!” Hutchison said.
“Don’t fans remember the times the club was in the s*** under (Manuel) Pellegrini. Moyes had West Ham in fifth/sixth (lost Lucas Paqueta). Topped the Europa (League) group and won a European trophy.”
Hutchison received criticism from some supporters who disagreed with his views.
But he doubled down in a back and forth with West Ham fans.
“By the way Pellegrini spent £155 million and only won five league games (in his second season – West Ham finished 10th in his first).
“West Ham I think were fourth bottom!! Look where West Ham are these days under David Moyes, in Europe.
“Sorry but I think he has done a great job.”
