AC Milan consider West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca to be the ideal signing in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a report from MilanLive.it who claim that West Ham boss David Moyes is ‘dissatisfied’ with the 24-year-old Hammers hitman.

Scamacca has experienced a difficult start to life at the London Stadium, since making his £30 million move from Sassuolo in the summer.

Scamacca has already been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham, with the East London outfit allegedly prepared to sell him for £44 million.

But which club are showing the most interest in prising him away from the London Stadium?

The Italian giants are plotting a move to sign the 24-year-old forward because he’s the ideal profile for them, according to MilanLive.it.

Milan have also been encouraged by Moyes’s ‘dissatisfaction’ with the Italian.

I really hope that the Hammers don’t give up on Scamacca just yet, he’s a superb striker in my opinion and just needs Moyes to set up his team to the Italian’s strengths.

Moyes recently suggested that the 24-year-old striker still isn’t quite ready, when asked by the Evening Standard about his forward options.

Hopefully when action resumes after the international break though, Scamacca will return to full fitness and his best form.

The former Sassuolo ace has exceptional technique and his link-up play is truly superb. He does need to improve the physical side of his game though, and work the opposing defenders more than he does.

Gianluca Scamacca is an obvious transfer target for AC Milan. He’s proven in Serie A and is exactly the kind of player they need.

However, West Ham should be doing everything they can to keep the 24-year-old in East London in my opinion.
